Kling
This is a very special and unique billiard table. In a beautifully restored
condition.
The table is called a "Kling" and is built by the Brunswick-Balke-Collender
Co.
The table is a 6 legged 4.5' x 9' and is covered in Circassian Walnut Burl,
inlaid with Ebony, Holly and other woods. It features Mother-of-Pearl
highlighting throughout the table. It has rosewood rails with real
Mother-of-pearl diamond sights.
The Circassian Walnut Burl is a very rare and dynamic wood. This wood is
from the Circassian Mountains of Russia. This easily dates this table as
pre-Russian Revolution.
This wood has a very "swirled" pattern of black ungulating grainings on a
tan background. The table plays like a dream.
